This document should be reviewed by qualified legal counsel before final publication.

1. The GO4 service

GO4 provides monitoring and diagnostic tools for websites and Shopify stores, including features such as:

  • uptime and HTTP checks
  • page and storefront monitoring
  • sitemap and SEO diagnostics
  • Shopify product, collection and cart checks
  • Browser Lab checks
  • Action Journey checks
  • JS Agent monitoring, if manually enabled
  • incidents, alerts and diagnostic evidence
  • Shopify app installation and embedded app access
  • support and transactional email flows

GO4 is designed to help merchants identify website or store problems earlier.

GO4 does not guarantee that every issue will be detected, prevented or resolved.

2. Eligibility and account responsibility

You may use GO4 only if you have the authority to act for the business, website, Shopify store or organization that you connect to GO4.

You are responsible for:

  • keeping your account credentials secure
  • ensuring that your account information is accurate
  • managing user roles and permissions
  • all activity that occurs under your account
  • ensuring that the websites and stores you add to GO4 are owned by you or that you have permission to monitor them

You must notify us if you believe your account has been compromised.

3. Acceptable use

You must not use GO4 to:

  • monitor websites, stores or systems that you do not own or have permission to monitor
  • perform unlawful, abusive, harmful or excessive automated activity
  • intentionally collect passwords, payment card data or unnecessary personal data
  • bypass security, access control, rate limits or platform rules
  • submit real customer orders or real payments through automated journeys unless expressly intended, lawful and safely configured
  • interfere with Shopify, merchant stores, third-party services or GO4 infrastructure
  • upload or configure malicious code, harmful payloads or deceptive content

We may suspend or limit checks, accounts or access if we believe usage is unsafe, unlawful, abusive, technically harmful or inconsistent with these Terms.

4. Monitoring configuration

You are responsible for the monitoring configuration you create in GO4.

This includes:

  • check URLs
  • selectors
  • expected or unexpected text
  • Action Journey steps
  • fill values
  • screenshot settings
  • JS Agent settings
  • Shopify product, collection and cart settings
  • alert settings

You should not include sensitive personal data, passwords, payment information or unnecessary customer data in check names, URLs, selectors, expected text, journey labels or journey fill values.

5. Browser Lab and screenshots

Browser Lab and Action Journey features may generate diagnostic evidence, including:

  • timing data
  • network and resource data
  • DOM assertion results
  • JavaScript error samples
  • screenshots, if screenshot capture is enabled

Screenshots and page evidence may contain visible content from the monitored page.

You are responsible for ensuring that monitored pages and configured journeys do not expose unnecessary personal or sensitive data.

GO4 may remove, rotate or retain Browser Lab evidence according to service settings and retention policies.

6. JS Agent

If you install or enable the GO4 JS Agent on your website or store, you are responsible for:

  • informing visitors where required by law
  • updating your own privacy and cookie notices if necessary
  • configuring collection options in a privacy-aware way
  • avoiding unnecessary collection of personal data
  • complying with Shopify and other platform requirements

GO4 JS Agent is intended for technical monitoring and diagnostics.

It is not intended for advertising, profiling or sale of personal data.

7. Shopify app terms

If you install GO4 through Shopify:

  • you authorize GO4 to access your Shopify store using the scopes approved during installation
  • you authorize GO4 to use Shopify APIs and webhooks needed for the app functionality
  • you understand that uninstalling the app may disconnect the Shopify store from GO4
  • historical monitoring, billing, security or compliance records may be retained where necessary
  • Shopify may handle authentication, embedded app context, app billing and platform compliance flows

GO4 uses Shopify access tokens for app functionality.

Shopify access tokens are intended to be stored encrypted where the application is properly configured.

8. Shopify billing and plans

If GO4 charges are processed through Shopify, billing is handled through Shopify App Pricing or Shopify billing systems.

The applicable price, trial period, billing interval and plan features should be shown in Shopify or in the GO4 interface before approval.

You are responsible for reviewing and approving any plan or charge.

Upgrades, downgrades, cancellations and trial changes may be handled through Shopify or GO4 depending on the billing flow available for your account.

Unless otherwise required by law or Shopify policy, fees already charged may be non-refundable.

9. Support

GO4 may provide support through support forms, email or other published contact channels.

Support response times are not guaranteed unless a separate written service level agreement applies.

When contacting support, you should avoid sending passwords, payment information or unnecessary personal data.

10. Availability and changes

We aim to operate GO4 reliably, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free or real-time availability.

GO4 may be changed, improved, limited, suspended or discontinued in whole or in part.

We may also change features to comply with Shopify platform requirements, security needs or legal obligations.

11. Third-party services

GO4 may depend on third-party services such as:

  • Shopify

You are responsible for complying with privacy laws that apply to your own website, Shopify store, customers and visitors.
